Privacy Policy

This policy explains how KickerGames handles information when you browse the site, play a game, create an account, or interact with platform features.

Information you provide

When you create or use an account, we may receive your email address, display name, password, and profile image. Passwords are stored as one-way hashes rather than readable text. We also receive information you include when you email us about support, games, rights, business matters, or privacy requests.

Information collected automatically

Our servers and security systems may process your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, requested pages, referring page, timestamps, request identifiers, and diagnostic or security events. First-party analytics record page views, play clicks, confirmed game loads, active-play milestones, and active play duration. A random browser identifier connects visits from the same browser, and first-touch campaign parameters such as UTM values, gclid, or fbclid may be stored when they are present in the first landing URL. We also use a separate random browser identifier to remember your like or dislike for a game.

Cookies and browser storage

We use essential cookies to maintain user and administrator sessions. A short-lived cookie may also protect a social sign-in attempt where that option is configured. Local storage can keep recent-game history, account-specific recent-game cache data, random analytics and game-reaction identifiers, first-touch campaign values, and the current first-party analytics session timestamp. Analytics starts a new session after 30 minutes without activity. See our Cookie Policy for more detail.

Accounts and sign-in providers

Email accounts are supported. Google or Facebook sign-in may be offered only when the relevant service is configured. If you choose a social sign-in option, the provider may send us an account identifier, name, email address, profile image, and email-verification status according to the permissions shown to you. Google sign-in requests basic OpenID profile and email information; it does not request access to Gmail, Drive, Calendar, or other Google content.

How we use information

  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve KickerGames.
  • Create and authenticate accounts and synchronize recent-game history.
  • Remember preferences, recent games, and game reactions.
  • Understand whether games load and function as expected.
  • Respond to support, developer, rights, business, and privacy messages.
  • Prevent abuse, enforce our terms, and meet applicable legal obligations.

Analytics and advertising

KickerGames currently records limited first-party gameplay analytics as described above. The site reserves locations where advertising may be added, but those placeholders do not currently load a third-party advertising network. If we introduce additional analytics or advertising services that collect personal information or use non-essential storage, we will update this policy and provide notices or choices where required.

Games, embeds, and external services

Games may run in an iframe and may be hosted by KickerGames or another provider. A third-party game or embedded service can receive technical information directly from your browser and may use its own cookies or storage under its own privacy terms. External links take you to services we do not control. Review the privacy information shown by those providers before submitting information to them.

Service providers and sharing

We may share limited information with providers that support hosting, content delivery, databases, authentication, security, monitoring, and other platform operations. They receive information only as needed to perform those services. We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect rights and safety, to investigate abuse, or as part of a business reorganization. We do not currently sell personal information for money.

Retention

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed to provide the service, maintain security and records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention periods vary by data type. Browser storage remains on your device until it expires, is cleared through a KickerGames control where available, or is removed through your browser settings.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including password hashing, restricted session cookies, access controls, request limits, and redaction of sensitive authentication values from application logs. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, so please use a unique password and protect access to your email and sign-in provider.

Children’s privacy

KickerGames is not directed to children who are not legally able to consent to the processing of their personal information. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a child provided personal information without the required permission, contact us so we can review and take appropriate action.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to ask for access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or an objection to certain uses of personal information, and to appeal or complain to a regulator. These rights can have legal exceptions. You can also clear recent-game history in KickerGames and manage browser storage through your browser.

Policy updates

We may update this policy as KickerGames, our practices, or applicable requirements change. We will post the revised version here and change the “Last updated” date. Material changes may receive an additional notice where appropriate.
