About Spider Solitaire
Spider Solitaire is a two-deck card puzzle played across ten tableau columns. Cards are arranged into descending runs to uncover hidden cards and create complete same-suit sequences from King through Ace. One-, two-, and four-suit modes let you choose how demanding the sorting becomes.
How to play Spider Solitaire
Move a face-up card onto a card one rank higher to build descending stacks. Same-suit descending sequences can be moved together, making them especially valuable for reorganizing the tableau. Reveal face-down cards whenever possible, and deal a new row from the stock when needed. Complete King-to-Ace sequences to remove all eight runs and win.
Controls
- Click or drag a movable card or same-suit sequence to a valid tableau column.
- Use the stock control to deal another row after preparing the tableau columns.
Tips
- Prioritize moves that reveal face-down cards before making tidy but unproductive stacks.
- Build within the same suit whenever possible so the entire descending run remains movable.
- Protect empty columns because they provide the most flexible space for reorganizing cards.
- Delay dealing from the stock until the current tableau has no stronger uncovering move.
