Slice Rush Chef is a fast food slicing game. Chop the fruit and vegetables that slide down the board, avoid the traps and keep your combo alive to unlock new chef knives.
The knife never stops swinging. Slice Rush Chef is a free online slicing game where you chop fruit and vegetables as they slide down a wooden board towards your blade. Hold to chop, keep your combo alive and stay clear of the trap items that end your run. It plays straight in the browser, like most slicing games online - no download and no sign-up.
Underneath, this is a one-finger slice game about timing: ingredients travel the board, the knife keeps cutting for as long as you hold, and the level bar fills with every clean hit. It is also a cutting game you can pick up in a second and still lose on a later stage - there is no aiming here, only the moment you release.
The goal of every stage is to fill the level bar on the HUD before the board gets the better of you. Click or tap and hold to keep the knife chopping, and release to stop it again. Ingredients arrive at different speeds, so read the board ahead and watch the ones that move faster than the rest. Every clean cut adds to your combo and lifts the combo multiplier; miss a slice, or catch a trap item, and the chain drops away. Desktop and mobile play exactly the same way, which is why cutter games like this one work just as well with a mouse or a thumb.
Not everything on the board is food. Trap items end your run on contact and turn up more often as the stages get harder, so read ahead instead of chopping on reflex. The level bar is the real target: every cut pushes it up, and a long combo is the fastest way to fill it. Hold a clean chain together and a stage that looked impossible a minute ago starts to feel routine.
Gems collected during a round go towards new chef knives in the shop, from a plain kitchen blade to a butcher's cleaver and beyond. Fresh ingredients unlock at set levels as well, so the board keeps changing the longer you stay - watermelon, starfruit and coconut only join the run once the early stages are behind you.
PC: hold down the left mouse button to chop and release it to lift the knife.
Mobile: hold your finger on the screen to chop and lift it to stop. The portrait layout is the one the game is built around.
Newcomers can start with a single instruction - hold to chop - and the early stages forgive almost anything. Casual players get a fast food slicing game that fits a two-minute break between other things. If you are the type who replays a stage until the combo finally holds, the trap-heavy later boards are where this one shows its teeth.
If you enjoy cutting games and food puzzles, the same kitchen theme runs through our pizza slicing game, and fruit slicing games scratch a similar itch. For something calmer after a fast round, try food sorting games or a slower cutting game. Players who like Perfect Slices tend to enjoy this kind of knife slice game too.
